Comms Problems in Siberia
I'm at Mongolian outbound passport control now. Apologies for the lack of updates but it was outside my control: the mobile phone networks in Siberia and Mongolia don't support GPRS. Now that I'm connected to a Chinese network, the problem should be over for now.
I was preparing updates along the way though, so you should have a few to read, which you can access through the map.
