Bye Britain, Hi Holland

19,000 tonnes of aluminium apparently comprise the ferry which carries me now into the English Channel. The fastest and largest vessel in the world. A soft vibration is ever present. Those travelling alone look rather bored. Personally, I'm anxious.

the road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began now far ahead the road has gone and you must follow, if you can persuing it with eager feet until it joins some larger way where many paths and errands meet (b.baggins)
